Integral Group - Customer Case Study

Integral Group, an international multidisciplinary sustainability firm, needed a practical way to assess and reduce embodied carbon across diverse projects, from buildings to infrastructure and high-ambition net-zero developments. To support this work, Melissa Nouel and the team used One Click LCA to build embodied carbon models and evaluate material choices during iterative design and specification stages.

With One Click LCA, Integral Group could quickly integrate EPDs, test material replacements, and produce evidence-based carbon reduction advice aligned with certification requirements. On the University of Sydney Engineering and Technology Precinct project, this helped support a strategy that retained 50% of the existing structure and delivered measurable life-cycle reductions, including 26% lower greenhouse gas emissions, along with significant cuts in ozone depletion, acidification, eutrophication, ozone formation, and abiotic depletion.
