How One Click LCA was utilised to achieve LCA- Mat 01 Life Cycle Impact reduction in BREEAM Int'l New Construction 201

Vesta Consulting supported the Akropole Shopping Center and Akropole Business Center project in Riga, Latvia, where the team needed to complete a life cycle assessment for BREEAM International New Construction 2016 Mat 01 requirements on a large, complex commercial development. They used One Click LCA to help manage the scale of the project, work from BIM data, and assess embodied carbon and life cycle impacts more efficiently.

Using One Click LCA, Vesta Consulting was able to process BIM files, compare models against as-built documentation, and draw on the software’s material and EPD database for automated life cycle calculations. The solution helped the project achieve two BREEAM International New Construction 2016 Very Good certifications—one for Akropole Shopping Center and one for Akropole Business Center—while reducing manual effort and improving the accuracy and speed of the LCA process.
