How One Click LCA was used to achieve LCA credits in BREEAM Refurbishment project

IT Engineering SA, LLC, the investor behind the Pavilion C3 and C4 Post EXPO refurbishment in Astana, Kazakhstan, needed to rebuild the former EXPO-2017 pavilions in line with BREEAM International Non-Domestic Refurbishment 2015 requirements. The project called for a more systematic way to manage environmental performance, life cycle planning, and material impacts across a complex administrative and corporate redevelopment.

Using One Click LCA and support from Buro Ecoseven, LLC, IT Engineering SA, LLC assessed Mat 01 environmental impact of materials and Mat 02 life cycle cost and service life planning for BREEAM International RFO 2015. One Click LCA helped the team identify key environmental contributors, set clearer sustainability goals, and evaluate local supply chain options, leading to more informed investment decisions and cost savings through more efficient resource use and alternative processes.
