How One Click LCA supported sustainable design choices for Finavia

Finavia, the investor behind Helsinki Airport’s expansion in Finland, needed a way to support sustainable design choices for the airport’s transfer capacity increase sub-project. One Click LCA was used as the life cycle assessment (LCA) tool to evaluate the environmental implications of the planned expansion, which covered 66,000 m² of new construction.

One Click LCA helped Finavia and its consultant Granlund Consulting Oy assess the project and inform more sustainable design decisions for the Helsinki Airport Development Program. The analysis directly supported the expansion’s planning process, with a measurable scope of 66,000 m² analyzed through LCA by One Click LCA.
