Case Study: Strusoft achieves automated whole-building precast concrete LCA with One Click LCA

Strusoft, a Swedish provider of precast concrete design software, needed a way to efficiently perform life cycle assessment at the whole-building level for many individual elements. They partnered with One Click LCA and used its custom LCA software solution, One Click LCA, to address the challenge of generating concrete EPDs for precast structures.

One Click LCA implemented an automated LCA workflow for calculating 900 precast elements individually, rolling the results up into the building structure and envelope assessment. The pilot was successfully completed, and the results were published in Swedish, demonstrating a scalable approach to automated precast concrete element LCA.
