One Beyond helps Centrica to improve customer experience through a dedicated smart home utilities app

Centrica, a global energy services company, encountered a challenge as its Hive smart home platform grew. Their existing tools were not scalable or device-agnostic, preventing engineers from effectively diagnosing and resolving customer issues remotely. This limitation hindered the company's ability to provide fast and efficient support to its over one million users, prompting them to partner with software development vendor One Beyond.

To address this, One Beyond developed a custom cross-platform Front Line Support Tool using React Native and AWS. The solution included a mobile and desktop application that provided engineers with real-time remote diagnostics and management capabilities for connected devices. The project was completed ahead of schedule, resulting in faster issue resolution, significantly improved service efficiency, and an enhanced overall customer experience for Centrica.
