Wheatsheaf Group, an international investor in food and agriculture businesses, faced the challenge of inefficiency and lost value within the agricultural supply chain. They partnered with software development vendor One Beyond to rapidly build prototype applications that would provide farmers with the necessary tools to capture ground truth data from their operations.

One Beyond developed a blockchain solution embedded into smartphone apps, which included farm dashboards and voice-activated controls. This system captured audited farm data and integrated it into a multi-party marketplace, aiming to reclaim approximately one third of the value typically lost in data handovers.
