Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioning Europe Ltd (MHIAE) faced a challenge in providing its European network of service engineers with a quick and easy way to diagnose faults with HVAC systems while on site. They partnered with vendor One Beyond to develop a mobile app that would allow engineers to instantly identify products and look up error codes, moving beyond cumbersome technical manuals.

One Beyond built a cross-platform mobile app using Xamarin and a central management portal developed with ASP.Net MVC, C#, and SQL Server. The solution allowed for easy QR code scanning and centralized updates. The results were highly positive, with over 1,000 downloads in the first month and engineers reporting significantly faster fault diagnosis. One Beyond delivered a product that was very well received and easy for MHIAE to manage.
