Leading High Street Bank Tackles Distribution Challenges with Comms Planning Tool

Leading High Street Bank faced fragmented global comms distribution, limited visibility into external-facing teams, inaccurate distribution data and competing agendas that caused duplicated coverage and missed opportunities. To tackle this, the bank engaged Onclusive and its Forward Planner service to create a bespoke planning solution that would centralise comms activity and improve coordination across the organisation.

Onclusive implemented Forward Planner — giving the bank access to a rich editorial database (120,000+ news items and events, with planning visibility up to 12 months), Planner Plus APIs, parent/child planning grids, bespoke filters, tagging and a media conduit — which removed manual update tasks, improved collaboration and ownership of comms, produced more relevant campaigns and provided actionable insights for reporting. As a result, Onclusive’s Forward Planner has increased internal visibility, reduced scheduling conflicts between teams and enabled the bank to better align and prioritise its global communications.
