The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) is a global non-profit focused on animal rescue, protection and conservation that needed to better connect emotionally with donors and optimize messaging. IFAW’s communications team lacked data on which soundbites were being picked up and driving action — including social amplification, website traffic and conversions — so they couldn’t reliably build messaging that increased donations or downstream impact.
To solve this, IFAW partnered with Onclusive and implemented NEO, Onclusive’s “SEO for PR” messaging tool within its media monitoring and PR analytics platform. Using NEO, IFAW identified high‑impact soundbites (e.g., koala content that drove the most social amplification), aligned PR with broader marketing, tracked amplification, web traffic and interactions, and generated measurable outcomes such as traction on a petition to change koala classification — substantially increasing their ability to create the right messaging and drive results with Onclusive’s insights.
