Alliant Credit Union, a Chicago-based credit union with an 11-member volunteer board, sought to eliminate paper board packets, provide anytime/anywhere access to materials, and boost committee and board engagement. Using OnBoard Board Management Software, Alliant moved to a complete digital transformation: board materials and reference documents are available on any device, many meetings run remotely, and more work is handled at the committee level. The change produced measurable time savings — the executive administrator’s board-packet preparation dropped from an all-day task to about one hour — while increasing board and committee engagement and making governance more efficient and accessible.
