Brookings Health System, a non-profit, city-owned health system in Brookings, SD, struggled with a labor-intensive board process—hand-delivering 50–75 page paper packets or sending large, cumbersome PDFs that could take a full day to compile, created security and access issues, and made transitioning to virtual meetings difficult. To address these challenges, Brookings Health System implemented OnBoard Board Management Software.

OnBoard Board Management Software replaced paper and ad‑hoc PDFs with a Board Book Builder and Resource Folders with permission controls, allowing packets to be built continuously, shared securely, and accessed on demand. The solution eliminated printing and courier costs, made packet creation cheaper and faster, simplified executive-session document access, eased the COVID-driven switch to virtual meetings, and left trustees better prepared so meetings run more smoothly.
