Kwik Trip, a store chain with more than 21,000 employees across 800+ locations, needed to streamline HR operations and improve visibility into employee records. After already using OnBase in accounts payable, the company expanded the OnBase platform into HR to replace paper-based file handling, reduce delays, and create a single view of employee information.

With OnBase, Kwik Trip digitized 98 document types, enabled custom search and standardized online forms, and moved store documents into the system within five minutes via scanning and FTP sweep processes. The results included faster processing, elimination of five Microsoft Access databases, repurposed file rooms into workspaces, automated retention and purging, and stronger role-based security for two million sensitive HR documents.
