A OnBase Case Study
Ullrich Aluminium Company, a 350‑employee Australian manufacturer with 25 branches, faced a time-consuming accounts payable process: branches emailed invoice images to head office, forcing AP staff to search through hundreds of emails (200–300 per payment run) to find and verify invoices. Accounts receivable had a similar problem locating customer updates in paper directories.
In 2010 Ullrich implemented OnBase by Hyland integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, giving staff one‑click access to invoice images and customer maintenance forms directly from the ERP. The change sped approvals, improved data accuracy, required little maintenance, increased employee satisfaction, and now saves the company roughly 80 hours of staff time each week.
