Lumber company empowers end users with low-code business applications

UFP Industries, a lumber company, needed a better way to manage business processes that were being handled with spreadsheets and aging applications. Using OnBase, UFP Industries built multiple applications on a single platform for areas like Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, capital expenditures, storm water, lease, and customer management. OnBase gave the company document management, forms, workflow automation, security controls, and a single view of data and content, while also sending task reminders to staff. As a result, UFP Industries shortened application configuration timelines, enabled business users to build and adjust processes themselves, and reduced reliance on developers.
