VibeVPS cuts the cost of high-end hosting with OnApp, Dell & PEER1

VibeVPS, a new cloud service from the Netscan Group, launched in early 2014 to give business customers more flexibility and performance than shared hosting, without the overhead of running their own hardware on site. The company wanted to bring enterprise cloud within reach of small and medium-sized businesses while keeping prices low enough to compete with shared hosting and on-premise servers.

To build the service, VibeVPS used the OnApp cloud platform with Dell hardware hosted in a PEER1 datacenter, choosing OnApp’s integrated storage system to avoid a separate SAN and keep costs down. The result was a cloud offering starting at £9.99 per month, with micro to large packages, 24x7 support, cloud backup, resilience, and simpler deployment and scaling; VibeVPS also said the pre-configured package helped it get to market quickly.
