Nature4Climate is a coalition of NGOs and intergovernmental organisations (including UNDP, WWF, Conservation International and The Nature Conservancy) working to raise investment and action for Natural Climate Solutions (NCS). Facing a crowded climate debate where NCS accounted for just ~1% of the conversation when work began in June 2018, Nature4Climate engaged Onalytica to leverage influencer engagement, community mapping and its platform/workflows to increase awareness and consideration of NCS.
Onalytica mapped the community and key connectors, monitored conversations, set up alerts, and guided tactics such as launching the @Nature4Climate hub, event-focused activations and a shift from early paid promotion to earned influencer activity. As a result Onalytica helped double NCS’s share of the influencer climate change conversation to 10% and grow NCS’s share of the global social media climate conversation from 1% to 5% (Jul 2018–Sep 2019), while continuing to provide consultancy, measurement and reporting.
