Case Study: Wake County achieves faster navigation and real-time courtroom scheduling with Omnivex Moxie

A Omnivex Case Study

Preview of the Wake County Case Study

Wake County uses Omnivex Moxie to provide real-time scheduling information and directional signage in new Justice Center building

Wake County, North Carolina’s rapidly growing county, needed a digital wayfinding and communications system for its new Justice Center to deliver a distributed court calendar, building-wide corporate/facility messages, and department-specific information. The challenge was especially complex because courtroom data is managed by the state and changes constantly. Wake County selected Omnivex and its Omnivex Moxie platform to address these needs.

Omnivex Moxie was deployed to power 69 screens across entries, lobbies, elevators and outside courtrooms, integrating court schedules with corporate and departmental content and allowing real-time updates via a sandboxed development environment built with Omnivex and partner Technical Innovation. The result: visitors quickly locate their courtrooms, staff can change information on the fly, and the installation earned positive public feedback and a National Association of Counties achievement award — demonstrating measurable improvements in navigation and communications driven by Omnivex.
