Sør Arena uses Omnivex to manage an extensive network of screens throughout their facilities

Sør Arena, a 15,000+ seat multi‑purpose stadium in Kristiansand, Norway, needed a real‑time, flexible digital signage platform to support more than 130 LCDs, interactive kiosks and two 28 m² LED boards. The stadium required integration of live IP‑based television (13 MPEG2 multicast streams), dynamic game and business modes, wayfinding, sponsor messaging and remote content updates — capabilities they addressed with Omnivex (using Omnivex Display3/Omnivex Display and Omnivex DataPipe).

Systems integrator Hatteland Vision deployed Omnivex software to unify and manage the entire network, ingest multicast video, power kiosks and handheld operator PCs (for live score updates and triggered “GOAL” animations/PA), and dynamically deliver sponsor advertising, replays and event‑specific content. The Omnivex solution has been widely praised by fans and VIPs, supports new advertising revenue streams and operational flexibility, and currently runs Sør Arena’s 130+ screens and two large LED boards with plans to expand interactive features and monetization.
