Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment uses Omnivex Moxie software to manage extensive digital signage network

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), owner and operator of the Air Canada Centre and multiple professional sports teams, faced a major communications and sponsorship challenge during a $48 million renovation: they needed a best‑in‑class digital signage network to create a unique fan experience, modernize sponsor branding and clearly define ROI across sales, marketing, operations and IT. To meet those goals MLSE selected Omnivex and its Omnivex Moxie software as the platform to manage a large, complex public venue deployment.

Using systems integrator DDC, Omnivex Moxie powered a rollout of 360 screens driven by 52 player PCs in 14 unique configurations (including a 42‑screen sculpture), dynamic scheduling for prime/fringe advertising, remote content control and event‑specific theming. The Omnivex‑powered solution enabled MLSE to produce 80% of ad content in‑house, generated a 33% increase in impressions versus static backlit signs, created new advertising revenue streams, and earned industry awards (APEX, SignMedia Canada) while improving sponsor engagement and fan experience.
