John Glenn Columbus International Airport boosts advertising revenue over 50% with Omnivex

John Glenn Columbus International Airport, a major airport serving millions of passengers annually, launched an $80 million renovation and sought to expand its digital signage network to improve passenger communications and experience. The challenge was to find a single software platform to manage visual communications throughout the airport, integrating new videowalls and ticket counter displays. They partnered with vendor Omnivex to implement a solution.

The airport implemented the Omnivex Moxie solution to power multiple large-scale videowalls and 62 ticket counter screens. This provided outstanding graphics capability and crisp, pixel-to-pixel content, mixing real-time flight information with advertising. The solution, implemented with help from reseller Radiant Technology, resulted in a greatly improved traveler experience and a more than 50% increase in advertising revenue for the airport. Omnivex's platform also allows for easy updates and future integrations.
