Hotel and convention center uses Omnivex software to effectively communicate with guests and generate revenue

Anaheim Marriott, a 19‑floor resort with over 1,000 rooms and a 54,000 sq. ft. convention center, needed a contemporary, flexible way to communicate meeting schedules, advertising and live news to guests that fit its renovated public spaces. Traditionally relying on printed glass‑encased schedules that required frequent manual updates, the hotel selected Omnivex and its digital signage products to replace the labor‑intensive system and deliver unique, timely content to multiple displays.

Omnivex implemented Omnivex Display 3 with Omnivex DataPipe 3 and Omnivex Control 4 across six 50" plasma and two 21" LCD screens, enabling mixed media (video, web, live feeds) layouts, real‑time schedule integration, and centralized remote control. The solution let staff post schedules directly from their booking system, integrate marketing and in‑room information, and sell advertising on the screens — generating enough ad revenue to cover roughly half the project cost within months while reducing manual update work and increasing guest engagement.
