Calgary Stampede, a year‑round not‑for‑profit events destination that welcomes more than 1,000,000 guests annually and generates roughly $435 million in provincial visitor spending, needed real‑time digital displays for concessions, menu boards, ticketing, sponsorship, wayfinding and event information across its large facility. To modernize and centrally manage this complex signage environment, the Calgary Stampede selected Omnivex and deployed the Omnivex Moxie digital signage platform.
Using Omnivex Moxie (deployed with local AV partner support and Omnivex Managed Services), the Stampede centralized control of screens, rolled out menu boards, portable kiosks, a large outdoor LED screen, ticketing displays, sponsorship programming and live data feeds. The Omnivex solution delivered cleaner, more consistent branding, time and cost savings in programming, improved wayfinding and on‑demand event/flight information for visitors, and enabled new revenue opportunities through digital advertising to promoters while supporting ongoing innovation such as interactive displays.
