Southeastern Community College, a small community college in West Burlington, Iowa, needed a better way to manage its website as it worked to improve recruitment and support growth. The school’s site was disorganized, inconsistent, hard to search, and stored much of its content in unsearchable PDFs and an outdated database, while also falling out of web accessibility compliance. OmniUpdate provided the OU Campus content management system to help address these challenges.

With OmniUpdate’s OU Campus, SCC reorganized its pages into a searchable hierarchy, standardized content and design, and added built-in accessibility checks to help ensure compliance. The new system automated manual web tasks, reduced workflow for the small web team, and made it easier for contributors and users to find information quickly. As a result, Southeastern Community College gained a more dynamic, fresh, and accessible website that better supports its enrollment and workforce-focused goals, while OmniUpdate continued to provide hands-on support and expertise.
