Pepperdine University Integrates Its Web Systems with CAS

Pepperdine University, a private Christian university with about 7,800 students, was managing a growing number of web applications across campus. Before 2008, users had to log in separately to each system, including OmniUpdate’s OU Campus web content management system, which was time-consuming, less secure, and led to frequent password-related help desk calls.

OmniUpdate helped Pepperdine integrate OU Campus with the Central Authentication Service (CAS) single sign-on protocol, enabling one login for multiple applications while keeping passwords out of individual systems.
