Montgomery County Community College's Website Goes from Stagnant to Stellar with Help from a New CMS

Montgomery County Community College partnered with OmniUpdate to replace a stagnant, text-heavy, hard-to-navigate Joomla website that lacked accessibility and didn’t reflect the college’s campus or brand. The school needed a modern, responsive site and a content management system that would support distributed editing, better usability, and accessibility from the start.

Using OmniUpdate’s OU Campus CMS, the college rebuilt its site from scratch with new templates, improved information architecture, decentralized content editing, and extensive usability testing with 300 students. The result was a clean, mobile-friendly, accessible website with faster content updates, better support, and a much improved user experience; the new CMS also eliminated extra content-handling steps and made half of the web administrator’s job responsibilities go away.
