Elizabethtown College, a private college in Pennsylvania, wanted to strengthen its campus marketing through multimedia and social storytelling while making better use of existing content. To support that goal, the college used OmniUpdate’s OU Campus enterprise web content management system to manage and repurpose content more effectively across channels.
With OmniUpdate and OU Campus, Elizabethtown College reused student quotes, photos, and other assets in multiple formats, created more engaging stories with video and multimedia, and kept content fresh through reusable Assets and Snippets. The college reported positive growth in engagement and more site traffic after launching its new multimedia website in May 2011, crediting OmniUpdate’s CMS, social media sharing, and campus contributors for helping content spread more widely.
