Kerrits, a growing equestrian and apparel brand that recently shifted to direct-to-consumer sales, needed a more powerful, easy-to-use email provider than the parent-managed setup and basic Shopify messaging. After evaluating options, Kerrits selected Omnisend’s email and SMS marketing platform for its intuitive interface and features like automation, segmentation, reporting, A/B testing, workflow splits, and SMS.
Using Omnisend, Kerrits moved welcome, post-purchase, cart and product-abandonment flows into automated workflows, created brand-specific segments for Kerrits and EQL, and began A/B testing and detailed reporting. The results were strong: revenue-per-email rose 50% within four months, automated emails average a 44% open rate and 21.7% conversion, welcome and abandoned-cart messages delivered roughly $6.58–$6.64 RPE (about a 1,600% lift over promos), abandoned-cart SMS convert ~15% with $2.87 earning-per-message, and automated messages now drive 23% of email sales while accounting for under 4% of sends — all achieved with Omnisend.
