International Education and Training Corporation - Customer Case Study

International Education and Training Corporation (IETC), a commercial consulting firm, partnered with Omnis to address the challenge of monitoring and evaluating a large-scale educational scholarship program across remote regions of Africa. The challenge was to efficiently collect and analyze data in an environment characterized by low bandwidth and old computing infrastructure.

Using the Omnis Studio platform and its ultra-thin client solution, IETC developed the FieldLink application. This HTML-based solution allowed for efficient data access via a standard web browser, even with low-bandwidth connections. The application, which runs 24/7 on a central server, is highly scalable and supports a large number of concurrent users. The solution provided by Omnis successfully enables the monitoring of 30,000 scholarships per year, empowering girls' education across eleven countries in sub-Saharan West Africa.
