Arts Management Systems (AMS), a provider of ticketing and CRM solutions for non-profit arts and entertainment venues, faced the challenge of helping its clients cut costly external fees from commission-based providers. To rapidly develop its comprehensive Theatre Manager product in-house and meet evolving customer needs, AMS turned to the Omnis Studio development platform from vendor Omnis.
Using Omnis Studio, AMS built the cross-platform Theatre Manager solution, which integrates web sales, fundraising, and facility management. The results were significant, with over 300 venues using the software to manage over $600 million in annual ticket sales. The solution demonstrably improved client profitability, exemplified by the Saratoga Performing Arts Center switching from Ticketmaster to Theatre Manager and saving its customers over $1 million annually in fees.
