Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, which supports 650 sworn officers and a 60‑person IT staff, faced an archaic evidence workflow that forced officers to submit help‑desk tickets and relied on an ineffective, Access‑based system. To modernize evidence handling they chose Omnigo’s Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) for its web‑based, SQL‑driven design, mobile app, custom reporting, reliability, and ability to import legacy data.
