Toronto Zoo Uses Omnigo iTrak to Enhance Incident Tracking, Reporting, and Analytics

The Toronto Zoo had been relying on handwritten incident reports and paper notes that piled up and were difficult to search, leaving leadership unable to pinpoint trends, notify the right people, or measure how much time security spent on tasks. To solve this, the Toronto Zoo implemented Omnigo’s iTrak to replace paper processes and introduce searchable, trackable digital reporting.

Omnigo configured iTrak with features like mobile reporting, GuardTour, iDispatch time-tracking, customizable checklists and automated notifications, plus robust search and permissions controls. As a result, incident reporting rose because it became easier to file, officers use GuardTour to prove night-shift presence (freeing supervisors), staff can dictate reports on mobile, and managers now pull analytics for audits, performance reviews and budgeting—giving the Toronto Zoo actionable data they previously lacked.
