How University of Texas Uses Enhanced ICS Forms for Superior Event Planning

The University of Texas Police Department faced complex pre-planning and incident-planning needs for sporting events, graduations, VIP visits, active-shooter and hurricane responses, and the need to share situational awareness with other campuses and local responders. To address these challenges they turned to Omnigo, deploying Omnigo Command and Planning (powered by Rhodium) with the Enhanced ICS Form module to improve collaborative planning and information sharing.

Omnigo implemented digital Event Action Plans and electronic sharing workflows using the Enhanced ICS Form module, enabling clear commander intent and faster team coordination. As a result, the University of Texas Police Department cut Event Action Plan creation from several hours to less than an hour in most cases, improving planning efficiency and mutual-aid coordination.
