The Drifter Hotel, a mid-century–style, 21+ hotel with a popular public pool and bar in New Orleans, needed a way to keep revenues and guest experiences high during the COVID-19 pandemic while meeting local safety guidelines. To manage bookings, member access, and contactless check-ins for its Drift Away pool sessions, The Drifter turned to Omnify, Inc’s reservation and membership management platform (their Swimming Pool Reservation System).
Omnify, Inc implemented timed, bookable 2‑hour pool sessions with a 50‑guest capacity per session, online payments to eliminate cash exchange, and 30‑minute cleaning windows between sessions, plus member profiles and member‑only access for streamlined check‑ins. The system allowed The Drifter Hotel to accommodate up to 200 guests per day and deliver daily sales equal to pre-pandemic levels, while maintaining safety and responsive vendor support.
