Covera is a fast-growing Romanian online retailer for home and gardening products (20,000+ SKUs, ~60k monthly visits) that won GPeC’s Best Startup in E‑Commerce 2013. Their primary challenge was reducing customers’ reluctance to buy gardening and farm products online by identifying site weaknesses and improving the overall conversion rate.
Working with Omniconvert, Covera ran surveys, 30 A/B experiments and 25 custom overlays and personalizations (welcome messages, exit triggers, cart abandonment offers, weather-based CTAs and phone-assist prompts) to address visitor objections. The program raised overall website conversions by 60.4% and boosted sales in the Trees category by 117.86%.
