Leroy Merlin Romania, part of the international home improvement retailer Leroy Merlin, faced a degraded UI/UX after converting their site from an online catalog to a full eCommerce platform. To address poor navigation, unclear content presentation, and drop-offs in the funnel, they partnered with Omniconvert in 2021 to systematically test and validate site improvements rather than make untested changes.
Omniconvert began with data and UX/UI audits that generated best-practice fixes and 53 prioritized A/B and multivariate test ideas. Over 14 months they ran 46 experiments, achieving a 39.13% win rate and a 6.27% uplift in website revenue; standout wins included an improved add-to-cart pop-up (+16.8% conversion, +24.19% revenue/user), photographic homepage categories (+21.14% conversion, +22.92% revenue/user), and a winning sticky CTA on mobile.
