OLX, a global leader in classified ads with millions of monthly visitors in Romania, wanted to improve mobile app downloads by communicating more personally with users. The challenge was to deliver the right message at the right time on a digital screen, so OLX hypothesized that a location- and time-targeted banner would boost download rates.

Using Omniconvert, OLX ran a 14-day test targeting mobile visitors from Muntenia with 20 region-specific images and four time-of-day message variations.
