Excess Baggage chooses Omnico and eBECS to create a seamless retail experience across its global locations

Excess Baggage, a growing operator of left-luggage, storage and travel retail outlets in airports and train stations, faced fragmented point-of-sale, finance and procurement systems that limited visibility of customers, stock and purchasing decisions as it expanded internationally. To modernize and centralize its retail operations, Excess Baggage selected Omnico Group (deploying its omniBasket PoS) in partnership with eBECS to provide an integrated, scalable solution.

Omnico Group implemented a single, unified omniBasket PoS across all 33 UK locations (with roll-out planned across Europe and the Middle East), integrated with eBECS’ Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 and retail accelerator. The combined solution delivered a single view of customers and transactions, real‑time stock and ordering visibility, faster store replenishment and increased staff productivity—improving the customer experience and giving Excess Baggage the scalability and control to support its expansion.
