Harman, a global audio and automotive technology company (brands include JBL, Harman Kardon and AKG), was hampered by a time-consuming, person-dependent 3-step pricing process that caused market delays, price inconsistencies and limited transparency across its 12 markets and D2C channels. Seeking a reliable data source, rule-based automation and more local flexibility, Harman engaged Omnia Retail and its Omnia software to modernize pricing execution and policy implementation.
Omnia Retail updated Harman’s pricing policy and deployed its Omnia software to automate daily rule-based price calculations, enable country-level strategy, and make pricing decisions transparent. The result: daily pricing maintenance fell from five hours to near zero, compliance rose from ~70% to 100%, automated updates run 4× a day across 12 markets for 200 SKUs (about 60,000 price advices), and one market recorded a 203% sales uplift year-over-year after go-live.
