A OMFGCO Case Study

Preview of the Portland Meadows Case Study

Portland Meadows packs opening day with 4,000 people in 2 months with OMFGCO

The customer, Portland Meadows, a historic Portland race track established in 1946, faced a significant challenge as it was largely unknown, often mistaken for a dog track or believed to be closed. As a last-ditch effort to generate interest in both the venue and horse racing, they enlisted the vendor OMFGCO for a comprehensive rebranding and marketing solution.

OMFGCO executed a full rebrand for Portland Meadows, which included a new visual identity, strategy, copywriting, collateral, signage, and a multi-season marketing campaign, all completed within a tight two-month deadline. The results were immediate and substantial; the opening event attracted 4,000 people, their largest crowd since the 1970s. The campaign successfully revived the track's story and built significant momentum, leading OMFGCO to be commissioned for several subsequent seasonal campaigns.
