The Municipality of Ballerup Implements Omada Identity

Ballerup Kommune, a Danish municipality of about 4,900 employees, needed to automate and secure onboarding, transfers and offboarding while integrating identity management with its payroll system and meeting public case- and document-handling policies. To meet these requirements they engaged Omada and deployed the Omada Identity solution to streamline user administration, access rights management and decentralized HR administration across departments.

Omada implemented Omada Identity with integrations to payroll, Active Directory, Exchange and other target systems, enabling automated provisioning/deprovisioning (including automatic revocation of accounts) and management of basic rights across 15 technical applications via a single portal. As a result Ballerup Kommune achieved better data quality, faster IT access for employees and managers, decentralized delegated administration, improved audit compliance and a scalable, future-proof identity governance platform.
