Varde Municipality engaged Omada after a series of municipal mergers revealed fragmented access processes and a need for stronger efficiency and security. Varde Municipality selected the Omada Identity and Access Governance solution to streamline and standardize employee and contractor onboarding/offboarding across a complex environment with thousands of users and hundreds of IT systems.

Omada implemented a user-friendly portal that lets managers “order” access like a menu, automates offboarding (including automatic account closure via the payroll system), and gives clear visibility into who has access, when, and for how long. The Omada solution delivered measurable benefits—eliminating orphan accounts, enabling precise license usage tracking that produced cost savings, and supporting ongoing improvement through a municipal user group network.
