Case Study: Telenor Norway achieves complete access visibility and eliminates orphaned accounts with Omada Identity

A Omada Case Study

Preview of the Telenor Norway Case Study

Norway’s Number one Telecommunications Provider Chooses Omada for Identity and Access Governance

Telenor Norway, Norway’s leading telecommunications provider, needed a modern in‑house Identity Governance and Access Management (IGA) solution to break down data silos, gain a single source of truth, and meet strict compliance requirements (Norwegian Security Act, SOX, GDPR). Facing widespread orphan accounts, fragmented application access, and time‑consuming audit preparation, Telenor Norway selected Omada and its Omada Identity platform to standardize and automate identity and access processes across the organization.

Omada implemented Omada Identity with a standards‑driven approach, building more than 230 integrations to over 300 applications, creating metamodels, and introducing role modeling and rule‑based provisioning. As a result, Telenor Norway eliminated hundreds of orphaned accounts, gained full visibility into access rights, sped up access requests, and drastically simplified audit preparation—reducing many hours of manual work—while continuing to roll out ServiceNow integration and further automation with Omada.
