Flughafen Zürich migrates to Omada Identity Cloud in 14 days

Flughafen Zürich AG, the operator of Zurich Airport, faced challenges with its heavily customized on-premises Omada Identity IGA solution. After over a decade of use, the airport operator sought to reduce operational complexity, improve standard conformity, and simplify application management. They considered a major upgrade but also explored migrating to a cloud-based SaaS solution to meet their IAM requirements more effectively.

Omada implemented a migration from the on-premises system to its Omada Identity Cloud solution. The project was completed on time and within budget, resulting in a highly standardized system that is considerably easier to manage. Flughafen Zürich now successfully manages 36 processes for the majority of their applications, reporting very good performance and high acceptance. The Omada solution has reduced the strain on resources and is expected to allow for easier and more cost-effective future operations, maintenance, and upgrades.
