Case Study: Aireon secures cloud data and AI pipelines with Oleria

A Oleria Case Study

Preview of the Aireon Case Study

Aireon governs 688 OAuth apps with Oleria

The online legal services company Aireon faced significant challenges in securing its multi-cloud data and AI pipelines across GCP, Snowflake, and Google Workspace. Rapid growth led to 688 ungoverned OAuth apps and complex, over-provisioned access to sensitive client legal documents. Existing tools provided incomplete visibility, forcing the security team to rely on slow, manual reviews and leaving engineers with broad standing privileges that increased risk.

Oleria provided a solution by deploying its platform to map all human and non-human identities to resource-level permissions and normalize over 238 million weekly activity events. This enabled Aireon to implement automated, usage-aware access reviews and replace standing privileges with just-in-time access. As a result, the company brought all 688 OAuth apps under governance, significantly reduced its attack surface, and streamlined compliance evidence collection for SOC 2 and GDPR.
