Walter Lilly creates a sustainable 6,600 sq ft workspace in 15 weeks with Oktra

Walter Lilly, a construction company, faced the challenge of an outdated and segmented office layout that limited staff interaction and collaboration. To mark their 100-year anniversary, they appointed workspace specialist Oktra to transform their new floor at Mosaic East into a modern environment that better reflected their brand identity and encouraged a more connected workforce.

Oktra's solution was to create an open-plan and collaborative Cat B fit out, consolidating workstations and introducing a large multifunctional breakout area with a bigger kitchen. The design incorporated flexible work settings and a hot-desking system to support various work styles. Sustainable measures, including hybrid HVAC systems and reusing existing furniture, were also implemented. The result was a modern, bright, and flexible workspace that employees prefer over working from home, fostering an environment of collaboration and teamwork.
