Takeda, the largest research-based pharmaceutical company in Japan, appointed Oktra to design and build their new London workplace. Oktra implemented a modern, open plan design featuring a desk sharing system and collaborative breakout areas. This agile solution allowed Takeda to accommodate 430 staff with just 300 desks, resulting in significant real estate cost advantages and a less hierarchical environment.
