Oktra partnered with Shiseido, who sought to relocate their London office to support a new hybrid work model and unify their multiple brand teams under a 'one Shiseido' vision. Their previous office had an excess of space, lacked focus and collaboration areas, and did not adequately reflect their diverse portfolio or employee needs.

Oktra conducted a workplace consultancy and designed a 13,700 sq ft Cat B fit-out to create a collaborative and inclusive destination workplace. The solution featured flexible spaces like a transformable teapoint/town hall, purpose-built rooms for training and specific teams, wellbeing amenities, and technology for hybrid connectivity. The result was an open, eclectic environment that broke down siloes, celebrated Shiseido's heritage, and provided a tailored, appealing workspace designed around employee feedback to support talent attraction and retention.
