NewDay, a financial firm, appointed Oktra to design a new 30,000 sq ft office in a Victorian building. Their challenge was to maximize the space to promote collaborative working while creating a bold and modern environment that moved beyond a traditional desk-based layout.

Oktra designed a contemporary workspace that retained the building's original features, inserting modern shapes against the period brickwork. The solution provided 75% more meeting space through clever structural planning and included 300 fixed workstations, open plan desking, and meeting pods. This agile environment allows NewDay's employees to choose how and where they work. The project was delivered in 22 weeks and achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.
