Gymshark transforms 42,000 sq ft HQ in 22 weeks with Oktra

Gymshark, one of the fastest-growing companies of all time, needed a new building to accommodate its rapid growth and attract future talent. The company partnered with workplace design and fit-out vendor Oktra to bring its vision for one of the best offices in the world to life.

Oktra designed and built a 42,000 sq ft space in Birmingham that embedded Gymshark's DNA into every element, including an amphitheatre, product testing rooms, and a nutritionally controlled catering facility. A key feature was a Human Centric smart lighting system that mimics the sun’s path to optimize energy and cost efficiency. The project was completed in 22 weeks, and the resulting office provides a range of working settings designed to enhance wellbeing, allowing Gymshark to choose how, when, and where they work. Oktra's work for Gymshark won in the Best West Midlands Office Interior category.
